I. Dạng bài từ loại xuất hiện trong bài thi THPTQG

Bài tập từ loại tiếng Anh trong bài thi THPTQG thường xuất hiện ở dạng bài tìm lỗi sai của từ. Đây là dạng bài yêu cầu các bạn phải biết cách phân biệt các loại từ, xác định vị trí đúng của từ trong câu. Ví dụ, trong đề thi THPT, dạng bài tập từ loại tiếng Anh xuất hiện trong đề tìm lỗi sai:

II. Ôn tập kiến thức từ loại Word Form

Loại từ	Định nghĩa	Chức năng	Ví dụ
Danh Từ	Danh từ là những từ chỉ tên người, đồ vật, sự việc, địa điểm, nơi chốn.	Danh từ thường đứng đầu câu làm chủ ngữ. Danh từ thường đi sau tính từ. Danh từ thường đứng sau các mạo từ, đại từ chỉ định hoặc các từ định lượng. Danh từ xuất hiện trong cấu trúc Enough.	Viet Nam is a beautiful country. (Việt Nam là một đất nước đẹp). She is a beautiful girl. (Cô ấy là một cô gái xinh đẹp). I wish I had a lot of money). (Tôi ước tôi có thật nhiều tiền). I have enough money to buy a ticket! (Tôi có đủ tiền để mua 1 tấm vé).
Động Từ	Động từ là từ dùng để diễn tả hành động hoặc một tình trạng, cảm xúc.	Động từ đứng sau chủ ngữ. Động từ đứng sau các trạng từ chỉ tần suất. (always, usually, sometimes…).	I am reading a book. (Tôi đang đọc sách). I always walk to work. (Tôi thường đi bộ đi làm).
Tính Từ	Tính từ là những từ chỉ tính chất của sự vật, hiện tượng.	Tính từ đứng trước danh từ. Tính từ đứng sau động từ liên kết. (Động từ to be).	Look! That beautiful picture! (Nhìn kìa, bức tranh kia thật đẹp). He is handsome! (Anh ấy thật đẹp trai).
Trạng Từ	Trạng từ dùng để chỉ trạng thái, hoặc tình trạng của sự vật, sự việc.	Trạng từ thường đứng trước các động từ thường. Trạng từ thường đứng giữa một trợ động từ và động từ.	I alway do my homework. (tôi luôn làm bài tập về nhà). She speaks too slowly for her teacher to understand. (Cô ấy nói quá chậm để giáo viên của cô ấy có thể hiểu).
Giới Từ	Giới từ được dùng để diễn tả các mối tương quan về hoàn cảnh, thời gian, vị trí của các sự vật, sự việc.	Giới từ đứng sau các động từ tobe và đứng trước danh từ. Giới từ đứng sau động từ. Giới từ đứng sau tính từ.	The cat is on the table. (Con mèo đang nằm trên bàn). I live in Ha Noi. (Tôi sống ở Hà Nội). I have the pretty dress in the gift box. (Tôi có 1 chiếc váy xinh xắn trong hộp quà).
