Today, I’m gonna talk about a surprise birthday party that I held for my best friend, Hien. To me, Hien’s always been a sister as we’ve been friends for over a decade and she’s been with me through both ups and downs in my life.

If memory serves, this party took place when both of us were seniors in high school and my bestie was about to turn 18. Though we were drowning in exercises and tests as the college entrance exam was coming, I made up my mind to do something special for her. 

A month beforehand, I secretly contacted her family members and close friends and had them send me some photos featuring her funny moments as well as record some short videos full of love and support for her. Subsequently, I put the pictures in an online album and merged multiple videos into one single file. A week before the day, I booked a small cafe in her residential area, ordered a birthday cake and purchased a Pandora bracelet as a gift for her. 

Finally, that red-letter day came. Hien was absolutely surprised when she found out about the party and saw the video along with pictures shown on the screen of a nearby coffee shop. She was then amazed when she knew I was the one throwing this party since previously, I pretended that I was too busy to join her. After all, she was totally on cloud nine, and her happiness meant my party was certainly a success.

1. On what occasions do people need to be organized?

Well, I’m pretty convinced that it is necessary for people to be organized on significant or special occasions. For example, when planning a party or working on a project, it's crucial to have a plan and timeline in place to make sure that everyone is cognizant of their responsibilities, tasks are accomplished on time and everything is under control. Without a thorough plan and schedule, people might have difficulty prioritizing activities, thus wasting time on unimportant tasks and suffering from unwanted stress and anxiety.

Not really. I strongly believe that it is vital for people to be well-prepared when it comes to events that can make or spoil their life since being ill-prepared on such occasions can immediately result in irreversible and dire consequences that they’ll definitely regret later on. Otherwise, being cautious in everyday situations might be both unnecessary and exhausting.

Under such circumstances, having people willing to lend a helping hand means the work can be divided, much time can be saved and the burden can then be reduced.
