1. Please tell me about your family

I’m so happy when I can talk about my family. There are six people in my family: my parents, three younger sisters, and me. My parents are farmers. They are so nice and humorous. My sisters are students who study at secondary school. And I'm a senior at National economics university. I love my family very much and like to spend time with them. 

2. Time for family

The time I allocate to my family is always my top priority in life. We usually have family dinners where we share stories about work, studies, and the daily challenges. On weekends, we often engage in family activities like outdoor outings, watching movies, or even going on short trips together. These are precious moments where we create joyful memories and nurture a sense of closeness.

3. Tell me about the place you live in

I live in Nghe An province which is located in the North part of Viet Nam. It is about 300 kilometers from Ha Noi. I often come back to my hometown by coach. There are a lot of beautiful, historical and peaceful places such as President Ho Chi Minh Native Home; Bai Lu beach; Cua Lo beach,... It is a place with friendly and kind people. I think everyone should visit my hometown at least once.

4. Describe your home

I really love my house very much because it is the place where I was born and grew up. There are three floors in my house. On the first floor, there is a living room and a kitchen. I spend most of my time in the living room and we talk, watch movies together. There is a three-bedroom in my house. I painted my room pink.

5. What is your favorite season? Why?

Among the 4 seasons, I like autumn the most because it’s a great time. It is not too hot or too cold and the air seems fresher. I love the changing of the leaves. Special, this time happens to be the festival that I love most. It’s the Mid Autumn Festival. I can see the full moon and enjoy the moon cake with all members in my family.

6. How do you relax in the evening?

I am very busy all day, so it’s important that I take some time to relax in the evening. I often cook dinner with my roommate and we have lots of fun. I like reading novels or watching an episode on television… Sometimes , I hang out with my boyfriend. We go to the cinema, coffee shop or come to a restaurant. These activities make me happy and relaxed.

7. What is your favorite music?

In my free time, I love listening to music. The type of music which I like is Pop. One of my favorite singers is Son Tung MTP. I remember the first time when I watched his performances with my friend, I was immediately attracted. The beat was cheerful and his voice was amazing. He is famous for his attractive appearance and modern style of music. To sum it all up, he is the biggest idol in my mind.

8. Tell me about your friends

Most of my friends are about the same age as me because we met at high school. Therefore, I can freely share my ideas, feelings and thoughts with them. I have got two or three friends who are older or younger that I met through work. I tend to meet up with my friends at weekends because we have a hectic schedule during the week. Whatever we meet, we enjoy a lot of things together such as shopping and watching movies at the theater.

9. What sport do you like in your country?

There are plenty of sports in my country such as swimming, badminton, volleyball, football ... but I think football is the most popular sport in my country. People in my country are very supportive of our national soccer 

Team. At Seagame 30, the football team achieved the first prize. Everyone is proud of it. 

10. Tell me about the last time you went to the movies?

The last time I went to the movies was with a boyfriend after we finished work. We got on the third floor of an office building, there’s a CGV movie theater on the fifth floor. We watched “Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One”, and I was truly impressed by the thrilling action sequences featuring Tom Cruise and the rest of the cast. It was a great way to unwind after a long day at the office.

10. Describe the clothes you are wearing?

I'm currently wearing a loose-fitting black t-shirt with a pink & green ombre bunny design. I've paired it with black wide-leg pants and pink shoes. I really like this outfit because it's comfortable and has a dynamic vibe to it. 

11. When do you feel stressed?

Communication with foreigners is the most stressful. Because I do not have good use of English to speak fluently and lack vocabulary & confidence. I fully understand my job's requirement of English Fluency, I remind myself to spend more time looking for something interactive & visually engaging. Hopefully, in the next few months, I will no longer get stressed in that situation.

12. What is the food like in your country?

There are many traditional and delicious foods in Vietnam but I think the most famous food is Pho. It has become the must-try dish in Vietnam for any visitor. It's tasty, cheap and available at all hours. The speciality of the food is the broth. It is made by stewing the bones of cows and pigs for a long time in a large pot. I love Pho very much so I can eat it everyday. 

13. Your favorite place? 

There are a lot of places I like but my favorite place is Nha Trang. I think it is the most beautiful city in Vietnam with a beautiful beach. I love to be there for a long time as I can rest softly and I have a good time playing sea sports and eating seafood. Nha Trang is a great place to make new inspiration and relax. 

14. A typical day like? 

I usually wake up early every morning. I eat breakfast and then I go to work at 8 a.m. I start working at 8:30 a.m and end at 5:30 p.m. In the evening, I cook dinner and do exercises with my roommate. 

15. Tell me the best way to travel around your country?

I'd say that the best way to travel in Vietnam is to go by motorbikes because it is really convenient. The buses are a bit cheaper, but I don't think that is such a comfortable way to travel. Also, there is usually traffic congestion at rush hours, especially in big cities like Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City. Therefore, if you go by bus, you may be stuck on the streets for hours. So then, motorbikes are really the best option, and of course, they give you the most freedom when you are traveling. 

16. Tell me about

your job?

Now, I'm an auditor. I work at Deloitte. My main responsibility is to communicate with the customer to obtain the documentation, audit evidence. Then, I and members of my team discuss together to expose the conclusion about the financial statement whether it is true and fairly. I love my job very much because it

helps me to improve my value every day.

17. Why are you learning English?

As you know, nowadays English is a popular language in the world. Therefore, I need to improve my English because of two main reasons. Firstly, I want to get a better job in the future. When I have an English certificate, I can apply to the company with a high salary. Secondly, I want to travel around the world and have a foreign husband. They’re the reasons why English is very important for me.

18. What are you looking for in your new house?

Today, I want to talk about my dream house. My house will have three floors. The first floor will have a living room and a kitchen. The living room where I put a sofa and a large television for my family will watch TV together in the evening. My bedroom which I paint blue because it's my favorite colour. I will raise vegetables and flowers in the garden. I hope it will be real in the future.

19. Favorite book in your country

From my perspective, fiction in Vietnam is the most common kind of book. From teenagers to older people, they can choose novels that are suitable for reading.

In addition to novels, there are some genres of books like comics  or self-help books that are popular with children and even some adults.

20. Please tell me about yourself?

I would like to introduce myself. My full name is Nguyen Mai Linh. I'm a senior at National Economics University. My major is Accounting. I'm very friendly and nice. In my free time, I like hanging out with my friend. We go out to eat, go to the cinema, go shopping, go to the coffee shop or to the concert music and so on. In the future, I want to be an auditor because it helps to build a solid ground about accounting, finance and improve my soft skills.

21. Describe the room you are in?

I am in a quite big room which is about 40 square meters with white walls. This room is equipped with 50 desks, 4 fans and 2 conditioners. I and other candidates are taking our exam on the computers. There are 3 supervisors who will help in case something goes wrong. The atmosphere in this room is fairly stressful.

22. What do you do on the weekend?

On the weekends, I will move away from technology devices like computers and phones that I will spend time with family. On Sunday morning, I also get up late. After that, I help my mother do housework and cook with my sisters. In the afternoon, I play badminton with my father and my sister. In the evening, I hang out with my friend. We go to the cinema, go shopping and go to the coffee shop.

23. Tell me why you are interested in traveling?

When I feel tired, I am going to travel with my family or my friends because it helps me to relax and recharge my energy. I will go to a beautiful place with fresh air. I will eat traditional and delicious food. I also take part in the activities at that place. In conclusion, I love traveling so much.

24. What did you do last night?

Last night, after eating dinner with my family, I did my homework and prepared for the upcoming exam. Then I listened to music for about 30 minutes and I watched a short film to relax. At 11 :pm, I drank a glass of warm milk, chatted with my friends and went to bed at 11:30 pm. 

25. What sport do you like?

Well, to be honest, I am not a good sports player but I am a big fan of badminton. I often play badminton with my sister and my father in the afternoon. After playing badminton, I feel really comfortable and full of energy since badminton helps me reduce stress and keep myself healthy. Almost every member in my family is interested in this sport. 

26. What do you like doing with your friend? 

In my free time, I would like to spend my time with my friends. We usually go out to eat, go shopping, watch movies or sometimes go to a music concert. Furthermore,I am very keen on hanging out with my friends at a local coffee shop. We enjoy some drinks like coffee or green tea and share some exciting news with each other. 

27. Please, tell me about your favorite film? 

Today, I want to talk about my favorite film. It is a cartoon called "Tom and Jerry". Tom is a cat with blue and white color. He is chasing Jerry day by day. Jerry is a 

brown mouse. He usually lives in the deep cave behind the wall. The film is a confrontation between Tom and Jerry, bringing plenty of laughter for the audiences. I love this film because when I watch it I feel very glad, feeling like I returned to childhood. 

28. Describe a member in your family? 

Well, I would like to talk about my mother who has played an essential role in my life. She's forty-two years old. She is very nice and humorous. She really is a mother and a friend to me as she always gives me valuable advice when I face a difficult problem. I love my mom very much.
