I have a friend who is studying in Germany. This year, she went back to Vietnam for the summer vacation in August, so she and I had planned a trip to Thailand since the beginning of the year. At first, we were taking going for a charter flight into consideration, but after a few discussions, we decided to plan the trip ourselves.

Although Thailand is a year-round destination, the weather is still sweltering. But it was worth it since I had invaluable experiences. Let's say I would like to mention the first place that we set foot on, which was the Ancient City in Bangkok. We got to see the replicas of architectural sites of Thai royals, which brought me an exciting moment when I got to see awe-inspiring palace designs in their history. Another place that we visited was a floating market.

Actually, it looked exactly the same as the market at home, but it was the first time that I went shopping on the water surface. At that place, I experienced the regional cuisine of Thailand with beautifully blended flavors of Pad Thai or Tom Yum. Besides the fascinating tourist attractions, I would say that I could sense the welcoming demeanor of the employees and the locals, making me feel like I was treated nicely because they wanted to. 

All in all, making an excursion to Thailand was a good decision of mine as I got to discover a new culture with my best friend. The time that we spent there was wholesome and I expect us to travel somewhere else like that in the future.

I would say so since two different generations would have distinct standards. The old sometimes prefer to travel to somewhere energetic to relive their youth. In a reverse way, the young may enjoy escaping the crowds by getting back to nature.

Social networking sites play a vital role when it comes to the discovery of new traveling destinations. People usually come to online reviews or travel bloggers to see the realistic feedback of the food and the services of one specific place. Another way is through movies. For example, Descendants of the Sun had boosted tourism since its release. In movies, natural sceneries are often focused on, which is a perfect opportunity to attract potential visitors.
