The pie charts provide a breakdown on the distribution of volunteers across various sectors in two given years. Overall, it can be seen that educational and environmental organizations made up the largest shares of voluntary workers in 2008 and 2014, correspondingly. Meanwhile, the figure for healthcare was lowest in both years.

In 2008, the percentage of employees in education was most significant with 24%, followed by the levels for environmental and art volunteers, with 21% and 18%, respectively. Additionally, the share of sport workers was 15%, while that of healthcare employees was half this figure, with 7%. This left 15% as the proportion of volunteers from all other sectors combined.

Six years later, the level for environmental workers had risen to 29%, becoming the largest figure. The sport sector, meanwhile, was closely behind, as it accounted for a quarter of all volunteers, which showed a significant increase from 15% in 2008. The data of healthcare employees witnessed a marginal increase as well, though this figure continued to remain the lowest, being equal to one-third that of sports. In contrast, the shares of volunteers in education and art declined to 17% and 12%, respectively.
