I. Đề thi TOEIC Writing 1

1. Đề bài

Questions 1-5: Write a sentence based on a picture

Directions: In this part of the test, you will write ONE sentence that is based on a picture. With each picture, you will be given TWO words or phrases that you must use in your sentence.

Questions 6-7: Respond to a written request

Directions: In this part of the test, you will show how well you can write a response to an email. You will have 10 minutes to read and answer each email.

Question 8: Write an opinion essay

Part 3:

In recent years, people can easily find company’s information through not only newspaper advertisements, personal recommendations but also websites on the internet. As far as I am concerned, despite several useful methods to get a job, I opt for a job which is found on the Internet especially on social networks like Facebook and Instagram and I am going to make my statement clear in this essay.

First of all, a job found on the social network is usually suitable for an individual's interest. There is no doubt that social networks are now known by the majority of the population all around the world and play an imperative part in everyone’s life. Hence, advertisements relating to occupation on Facebook or Instagram not only easily approach applicants but also casually base on the categories that interest users. To illustrate this, based on people’s searching on social networks such as cooking or business, the advertisements involving this particular field will consequently exist on their new feed.

Secondly, Regarding specific spheres, without any difficulty, people can assess the enterprise through the content of their advertisements or their page on Facebook or another social field with just one click. The reason is that if the content indicates sincerely the enterprise’s strength or their good potential, it is absolutely a great job that applicants should take into account.

To conclude, Although there are a variety of novelty ways to find a job, from my point of view, social networks have a significant strength compared to other methods.

Part 3:

People have different preferences when it comes to planning their holidays. While some enjoy taking one long vacation each year, others prefer several shorter trips. Personally, I believe that taking a few shorter vacations is more beneficial, and I have several reasons to support this opinion.

First, shorter vacations allow people to relax more frequently throughout the year. Work and daily responsibilities can be stressful, and waiting twelve months for a long holiday may make people feel exhausted. By taking short breaks every few months, individuals can recharge more often and maintain better mental health. For example, last year I scheduled three long-weekend trips, and each one helped me return to work with renewed energy and motivation.

Second, shorter vacations make it easier to explore different destinations. Instead of spending all of my vacation days in one place, I can visit multiple cities or countries over the course of a year. This variety keeps travel exciting and allows me to experience different cultures, foods, and activities. For instance, I traveled to the beach in the spring, a mountain town in the summer, and a nearby city in the fall. Each trip offered something unique and memorable.

Finally, short vacations are often more practical and easier to plan. A long trip can be expensive and requires more preparation, which may not always fit everyone’s budget or work schedule. In contrast, short getaways are usually cheaper, require fewer arrangements, and can be more flexible.

In conclusion, although long vacations have their advantages, I strongly prefer taking several shorter vacations each year. They help me relax more often, allow me to explore a wider range of destinations, and are more convenient to plan. For these reasons, shorter trips are a better option for me.

A job that provides training programs, mentorship, or chances for promotion helps workers feel valued and supported. For example, in my previous position, my supervisor encouraged me to attend workshops and take online courses. As a result, I became more confident and capable, which increased my overall job satisfaction.

Second, a positive working environment is crucial for maintaining motivation and reducing stress. People spend a large part of their day at work, so it is important to be surrounded by supportive colleagues and respectful managers. When team members communicate well and treat each other with kindness, the workplace becomes more enjoyable and productive. I once worked in a team where everyone helped one another, and this cooperation made even difficult tasks feel manageable.

Finally, meaningful responsibilities make a job more fulfilling. When employees feel that their work has a purpose and contributes to the success of the company, they are more motivated to do their best. For instance, being trusted with important tasks encouraged me to stay focused and take pride in my work, knowing that my efforts made a real difference.

In conclusion, the most important characteristics of a job, in my opinion, are opportunities for growth, a positive work environment, and meaningful responsibilities. These qualities help employees remain motivated, develop professionally, and feel satisfied with their work.
