I. Giới thiệu về Aptis Writing part 3

Phần 3 của bài thi Viết APTIS gồm ba đoạn văn ngắn, mỗi đoạn có độ dài 30-40 từ. Các đoạn văn này sẽ trả lời những câu hỏi có liên quan đến nội dung đã được đề cập trong Phần 1 và Phần 2. Đoạn văn được viết dưới dạng phản hồi trên mạng xã hội hoặc nền tảng trực tuyến. Thí sinh có 10 phút để hoàn thành ba đoạn viết này.

Trong phần này, bạn sẽ được đánh giá ở trình độ B1, dựa trên các tiêu chí sau:

• Task Fulfilment (Hoàn thành yêu cầu): Thí sinh không chỉ đơn thuần trả lời câu hỏi mà phải thể hiện rõ mục đích giao tiếp.

• Topic Relevance (Bám sát chủ đề): Trả lời đúng trọng tâm câu hỏi, không lạc đề hoặc sử dụng những từ ngữ ngữ không cần thiết.

• Punctuation (Dấu câu): Sử dụng đúng quy tắc viết hoa (capital letters); Dùng dấu phẩy (,) hợp lý; Dấu chấm (.) ở cuối câu, dấu chấm hỏi (?) khi cần thiết.

• Grammatical Range and Accuracy (Sự đa dạng và chuẩn xác trong ngữ pháp): Sử dụng chính xác các cấu trúc ngữ pháp, bao gồm các thì và cấu trúc phù hợp với yêu cầu đề; đảm bảo sự hòa hợp giữa động từ và danh từ (ví dụ: “He has two brothers.”); dùng đúng dạng danh từ đếm được/không đếm được, mạo từ (articles) và từ hạn định (determiners).

• Vocabulary Range and Accuracy (Sự đa dạng và chuẩn xác trong sử dụng  từ vựng): Chọn từ vựng phù hợp với ngữ cảnh và mục đích giao tiếp; sử dụng đúng mức độ trang trọng của ngôn ngữ tùy theo tình huống (task fulfilment).

• Cohesion (Tính mạch lạc): Mỗi đoạn văn trong phần này có độ dài 30-40 từ, tức khoảng 3-4 câu; để bài viết mạch lạc, hãy sử dụng liên từ (linking words), đại từ (pronouns) và các từ chỉ định (these/those/that/this) khi cần thiết.

Đề 1

You are a member of a Community Club. You are talking to three other members in the Community Club chat room. Talk to them using sentences. 

1. My friend wants to go to the hair salon, but her car isn't working. Can you suggest some ways for her to get there?

Answer: If I were you, I would advise her to take a taxi for a quick trip. Taxi drivers are usually local, so they know the shortest routes to get to good hair salons. Besides, I think that the bus is also a perfect choice because of its cheap cost.

2. Volunteering provides great learning opportunities and helps others a lot. Do you agree with this?

Answer: I can see eye to eye with this statement. When we participate in volunteer activities, we can learn new skills to help people in need such as cooking or nursing. Besides, we will have the opportunity to learn more social knowledge from the leaders of the organization.

3. Do you agree with the view that volunteering is a form of learning, especially for young people? Why?

Answer: I completely agree with this point of view for the following reasons. First, people, especially young people, will have the opportunity to explore the outside community world through volunteer activities. Second, after becoming volunteers, people can gain more life experiences from new people, including friends or people who need help.

You are a member of the language club. You are talking to three other members in the language club chat room. Talk to them using sentences.

1.  I used to learn French and found it very interesting. Tell me about a memory you have with a foreign language?

Answer: I remember I almost got beaten up when I first used English to communicate with a foreigner. I met him in a restaurant and I really wanted to help him order food. However, instead of saying how can I help you, I said what do you want to him.

2. I am very forgetful. Can you give me some tips on how to remember new words?

Answer: Your question is very interesting. I think the most important thing you need to do is to write down new words on a piece of paper. Writing down new words makes our brain more impressed with those words. Besides, you should pronounce the new words you learn out loud. 

3. Some people learn English through videos and reading books. However, there are also many private classes and teachers. What do you think is the most effective way to learn?

Answer: From my perspective, the most important thing to learn English is that we have a teacher to correct the mistakes we make. Sometimes we cannot make progress because we make mistakes for a long time without knowing the reason. Therefore, we should seek teachers to learn from them.

1. What do you like to do when you watch TV? 

Answer: I can spend hours sitting in front of the screen to watch my favourite programs. I like to watch music videos of my favorite singers and comedies to relieve stress after a tiring day of school. 

2. Do you like watching TV alone or with others? 

Answer: I like watching TV with my friend, because I feel that the movie is better when we watch it together. And when I watch it alone, it will feel very boring. 

3. Is it good for children to watch TV programs too much? 

Answer: Personally, I feel that too much TV is not good for children. Because TV has so many different channels and content, when children watch it without knowing it, it greatly affects their health as well as their eyes.

You are a member of a photography club. You are talking to three other members in the photography club chat room. Talk to them using sentences. 

1. Hi! Welcome to the club. What is your favorite photo?

Answer: Hello, glad to talk to you. I really like a picture presenting a waterfall in Cao Bang province. I saw it last month at my friend's house. The majestic and fabulous scenery in that picture made a strong impression on me.

2. Hi! What kind of photos do you like to take?

Answer: Hi. I am a big fan of natural beauty so all pictures that I took are of natural scenery. I usually take photos of sunrise and sunset on the sea, waterfalls in forests, ripe rice fields and so on. I love to see beautiful nature in the world.

3. Is it good to take pictures with the phone?

Answer: In my perspective, taking pictures with the phone is convenient for people. The phone is smaller and easier to carry than a camera so you could take photos or save memorable moments quickly anytime and anywhere. With modern and high-quality phones, you also have high resolution photos as a camera.

1. Hi! Welcome to college. What course are you doing and why did you choose it? 

Answer: At the present, I choose accounting as my major because I am addicted to math. Moreover, when I completed a complex calculation, I was walking on air. In conclusion, I love my course. 

2. Welcome! How do you feel about the college so far? 

Answer: To be honest, I feel that studying at college is much different than studying in high school. In terms of the way to learn, college studying requires learners to learn by themself. 

3. Did you hear that the college sports club has closed? What do you think about this? 

Answer: This lets me down. Admittedly, I am really sad when hearing it because I have just been a member of the college sports club since June. In my opinion, I 

strongly believe that the news may not be true. 

Đề 6

You are a member of a food club. You are talking to three other members in the food club chat room. Talk to them using sentences. Use 30 – 40 words.

1. Hi! Welcome to the club. Who did you have dinner with? And where?

Answer: Hello, glad to talk to you. Last night I had dinner with my family at a restaurant in town. We enjoyed a lot by eating and talking about beautiful moments of our life.

2. Hi! Do you prefer eating out or eating at home?

Answer: Hi. I prefer eating at home because it is cheaper and healthier than eating out. And I think that eating at home is better for me because I have more control over the ingredients, while meals at restaurants are often high in fat and calories.

3. Should a tax be imposed on unhealthy food?

Answer: In my opinion, I think a tax should be imposed on unhealthy food to encourage people to buy more healthy alternatives. It may create beneficial effects on health and could be an effective tool for tackling obesity.

• Sử dụng Present Simple làm thì chính, Past Simple khi đề cập đến lịch sử trong quá khứ.

• Thể hiện quan điểm cá nhân qua các cụm từ: I think, In my opinion, I personally feel,...

• Tập trung vào các đặc điểm nổi bật và lý do lựa chọn địa điểm.

• Trình bày ngắn gọn, súc tích trong giới hạn từ cho phép.

3. Câu hỏi về trải nghiệm thú vị

Dạng câu hỏi này đòi hỏi kể về một hành trình đáng nhớ:

• Mô tả chi tiết diễn biến và lý do tại sao trải nghiệm đó thú vị.

• Vận dụng linh hoạt các thì quá khứ để tăng tính đa dạng.

• Sắp xếp nội dung theo trình tự thời gian, kết nối mạch lạc.

• Nhấn mạnh cảm xúc và kết quả của hành trình để tạo điểm nhấn.
