1. What kinds of movies are popular these days? Why do you think they are popular? 

Even though people have a variety of movie genres to choose from, cartoons are always rated very highly among viewers of all ages. In the past, people thought cartoons were only for kids. But today,  even grown-ups love watching them too! No one can deny the fact that cartoons are extremely funny to watch and they can make us laugh until we forget everything, including the stress from work.  

2. What can we learn from watching movies? 

Watching films can teach us tons of different things. Many films have a moral story to tell or a lesson to teach and they can help us to become better people through watching the actions and intentions of the protagonists in films. As well as this, many films deal with more serious philosophical or moral questions which can lead us to questioning more deeply things we take for granted in life or things we hadn’t thought of before. And then of course, movies that are based on real events, such as historical movies, will bring us back in time to learn more about the past.

3. How are movies different from live theater? 

Movies are pre-made things which audiences can enjoy in the cinema or at home and they will always be the same as before. Theater on the other hand is a live performance and so each production will only be available for a limited time and each night will be a little different than the previous. Movies often concentrate on the visual and sound effects in order to grasp the attention of the moviegoers and they are often more action-packed and faster-paced than a theater show. Live theater focuses more on the acting skills of the cast and most of the action takes place in only a few or even one setting while films can take place in literally hundreds of different settings.

4. How do you think movies will be different in the future? 

In my opinion, the content of the movies will probably remain unchanged. We will still have the same genres of movies, varying from action movies, and romantic movies to horror movies. Regarding the way movies are presented to the audience, thanks to the rapid development of modern technology, we now have 4D movies which allow us to have a full experience using all of our senses. Maybe in the future, we will have hologram technology that will allow for 360-degree viewing of a film or maybe there will be no need for holograms or even movie theaters and people will just have personal headsets they can use to view films from the comfort of their homes.
