I. Eligibility for Commitment

Applicable Courses:

IELTS Intermediate and IELTS Intensive 4-Skills Plus

Entry Requirements:

Students must have an official IELTS test result from BC/IDP within 6 months before course registration OR have taken a full entry test on prepedu.com.
For the IELTS Intermediate course: an Overall score of at least 5.0 with no skill below 5.0.
For the IELTS Intensive course: an Overall score of at least 6.0 with no skill below 6.0.
For Combo packages: the entry score for the IELTS Intermediate course can be based on the exit test score from the Basic IELTS course (Overall score of at least 5.0). The entry score for the IELTS Intensive course can be based on the exit test score from the IELTS Intermediate course (Overall score of at least 6.0).

IELTS Test Timing

Applies to students taking the official test with the British Council or IDP within 2 months of course completion (students are considered to have completed the course if they fulfill all obligations in Section II).

Deadline for Refund Requests

Requests must be submitted within 1 month from the date students receive their official IELTS results from the testing council.

II. Student Obligations

Students are required to fully complete the following obligations:

Watch 100% of the lecture videos on prepedu.com, viewing each video in its entirety.
Complete 100% of accompanying assignments and score at least 80% on each assignment.
Complete 100% of course assessments, achieving a minimum score of 80% on each test.

(Note: For progress tests and mini-tests, each test must be taken for at least 30 minutes. Other assessments require a minimum time of 40-60 minutes per test.)

Submit all required Writing and Speaking assignments, review all mistakes thoroughly, and avoid repeated errors in subsequent submissions.
For the IELTS Intermediate course: maintain an average score of at least 6.0 in Speaking and Writing assessments.
For the IELTS Intensive course: maintain an average score of at least 6.5 in Speaking and Writing assessments.
Absolutely NO PLAGIARISM in any form for all assignments, evaluations, and assessments; Prep will use reputable plagiarism-checking tools to review student work.
Study consistently for a minimum of 1 hour per day, at least 3 days per week, totaling a minimum of 5 hours per week (calculated based on video viewing, assignment submissions, and online presence) leading up to the test, with no interruption longer than 2 weeks.
Actively participate in discussions, ask questions, engage with teachers on the "Prep Student Community" support group, and attend all knowledge-support programs exclusively offered for Prep students, hosted by teachers on online platforms as announced via email.

III. Prep's Commitment

After completing the course pathway provided by Prep, students are guaranteed to achieve a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 overall for the IELTS Intermediate pathway and at least 6.5 overall for the IELTS Intensive 4-Skills Plus pathway (including individual courses and Combo packages).
If a student does not achieve the targeted score as stated in the course outcome, Prep commits to a 100% refund of the course fee based on the purchase date.
If the student fails to meet one or more of the obligations listed above, the commitment is considered void, and Prep is no longer responsible for the course outcome. However, Prep will continue to support students to achieve the highest possible score.

IV. Refund Process

Send an email with the subject line: “Refund Request - Course Name (IELTS Intermediate/IELTS Intensive 4-Skills Plus)” to support@prepedu.com, including the following information:

Account information used for registration with Prep.
A scanned copy of the official IELTS test result from BC/IDP.

The PREP team will review all information and respond with a detailed confirmation of refund eligibility within 3 working days.

If eligible, the refund will be processed and returned to your account within 30 days.
