AI Usage Policy
Thank you for visiting and using the application system of Prepedu (hereinafter referred to as “Prep”)!
Prep is committed to ensuring that customers can safely and responsibly use the tools it provides while maintaining maximum control over their experience. This policy applies to all Prep websites, mobile applications, and services. By using Prep’s services, you agree to accept and comply with Prep’s policies.
General Terms and Policy Compliance
Prep has established general terms and policies applicable to all its services. Any violation of Prep’s policies, whether intentional or unintentional, may result in actions against your account, including suspension or termination. Prep strives to enhance the safety and utility of its products by implementing systems that reject harmful instructions or content and prevent the creation of harmful materials.
Prep acknowledges the importance of learning from real-world cases to continuously improve the safety of its AI systems. As it is impossible to anticipate all potential misuse, Prep actively monitors for new abuse trends. Policies are updated as necessary to address customer use cases and any new legal regulations.
To encourage innovation and creativity, Prep allows customers the flexibility to use its services as they see fit, provided their actions comply with the law and do not harm themselves or others. When using Prep’s AI-integrated services, the following rules apply:
Usage Rules
1. Compliance with Legal Regulations
Customers must adhere to applicable laws. Examples of prohibited activities include:
- Invasion of privacy.
- Engaging in regulated activities without proper compliance.
- Promoting or participating in illegal actions, including those involving exploitation or harm tochildren or the creation and distribution of illegal content, goods, or services.
2. Do Not Cause Harm
Customers must not use Prep’s services to harm themselves or others. Examples include:
- Encouraging self-harm or suicide.
- Creating or using weapons.
- Destroying property, injuring others, or engaging in activities that compromise the security ofsystems or services.
3. Do Not Misuse or Misrepresent Content
Customers must not distribute results from Prep’s services in ways that mislead or harm others. Examples of prohibited behaviors include:
- Sharing misleading information.
- Engaging in fraud, spamming, bullying, harassment, defamation, or discrimination.
- Promoting violence, hatred, or harm to others.
4. Respect Safety Measures
Customers must not violate or bypass safety measures integrated into Prep’s services or its research.
Scope of AI Operations
Prep’s AI systems are designed to enhance foreign language skills, including pronunciation, and provide cognitive representations of knowledge across various fields. However, the AI system will not engage in or support the following topics or activities:
- Political activities or actions deemed illegal under applicable laws.
- Violations of personal rights and children’s rights.
- Environmental destruction or illegal exploitation of ecosystems and wildlife.
- Actions or content violating copyright, intellectual property rights, or other legal frameworks.
- Promotion of racism, historical distortions, or remarks insulting human rights and personal dignity.
- Fraudulent activities, including scamming, document forgery, or identity theft.
- Insulting or demeaning the AI system.
Policy Violation and Warning Levels
Prep implements a three-level warning system to manage violations:
Level 1 – Initial Warning
Customers who violate specified rules will receive a reminder during their interaction with the BOT. Level 1 includes a maximum of two warnings before escalation.
Level 2 – Temporary Suspension
Upon a third violation, the account will be temporarily locked for five (5) hours. During this period, other services and courses will remain accessible.
Level 3 – Permanent Account Lock
If an account receives two additional violations within 24 hours after being unlocked from Level 2, it will be permanently locked. Customers must contact Prep’s support team for assistance and clarification.
Additional Safeguards
Prep may limit the number of responses during conversations or questions within each session based on the product, service, or content level. This safeguard prevents conversations from exceeding system limitations and minimizes risks of users feeling “offended or misled” by the BOT. Additionally, Prep cannot guarantee the accuracy of interactions if customers exhibit inappropriate behaviors, responses, or language. In such cases, Prep reserves the right to temporarily suspend support or interaction.
